Egg is very healthy for us. Most of us love various dishes made with eggs.  Egg has found its permanent place in Indian cuisine. The nutritional value of eggs is not unknown to us. Egg is a source of vitamin A and it has calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, etc. Egg is a rich source of protein. There are many kinds of health benefits of eggs. We all love to take many kinds of foods with eggs In our meals. We eat omelet, sandwich, boiled eggs, etc.  Another delightful recipe of egg is egg curry. Egg curry recipe  is very simple and at the same time, it is loved by all, by elders and children.Egg curry recipe is full of sweet memories to me and maybe to some people like me. It reminds me of my childhood when my grandmother used to cook for me this awesome recipe. When I grew up and got married, my mother-in-law taught me this recipe. My husband is a great fan of this particular dish. In my family, egg is a favourite of all. When I go for an outing along with my family, I ask for egg curry in hotels. Let us have a quick look at the awesome and very simple recipe of egg curry.

Eggs (three), potatoes(two medium sized), Onions(two-three finely chopped), capsicum(half finely chopped),tomato(half chopped nicely), you can use tomato sauce instead of tomato approximately two-three table spoon, green chillies (three finely chopped), ginger paste(half table spoon), garlic paste(approximately half table spoon), garam masala(according to taste).you can use less amount of garlic paste if you don't like garlic paste much.

Garam masala---It is a blend of so many spices like cloves, cardamom,cinnamon, black peppercorns,etc.You can find garam masala in dust form in readymade pouches. You can find it any Indian grocery shops.It is used for seasoning. It is also used for garnishing.

   Process  

"Bengali egg curry" is really delicious. It becomes more tasty in winter season.In winter, we have a picnic mood. The picnic spirit unites us and egg curry then becomes a very good option to eat and enjoy.When we tremble in the cold of winter and we are served with hot and spicy egg curry with rice,we experience a heavenly joy. When we are unwell and we do not want to make so many dishes for dinner or lunch we can prepare this recipe at our home.  Here, I want to share my experience when I was a teenager school going girl. One Sunday winter, Me and my friends decided to have a small picnic in our play ground. We arranged a stove, all the essential commodities and our elders like grand mothers aunties happily helped us to cook egg curry, rice, dal, and fried potatoes that day. We became so happy that we cooked some thing our selves with the help of our elders. We must follow the following steps in order to make this egg curry or which is called "dimer jhol" in Bengali.

Step1------ First,we have to boil the eggs nicely.Eggs should be hard boiled.Along with eggs, we have to boil the potatoes.  Each potato should be cut in to four pieces.After boiling eggs and potatoes we should peel off the outer skin of the potatoes and shells of eggs.

Step2------ We should heat mustard oil (.approximately threee-four tablespoon) in a pan or cauldron. Then smear some salt and turmeric powder on boiled eggs and fry those eggs into the pan or cauldron untill the eggs become brown or a bit red. Then we should fry the boiled potatoes in the same way. 

Step3----- Now, pour some more mustard oil in the cauldron or pan if required. Next, we should give two to three pinches cumin seeds, one bay leaf in the hot mustard oil as condiments. We should add nicely chopped onions, capsicum,green chillies, tomato sauce or pasted tomato, chopped or pasted garlic two to three pinches and fry them for a few minutes.while frying, we should add salt, turmeric powder,sugar according to taste.

Step4------ Now, in this step, add some water so that all the vegetables including capsicum, onions, etc. get perfectly boiled and all the spices are nicely cooked. We should cover the cauldron or pan so that all the spices and vegetables gets perfectly mixed and boiled so we'll. This will bring a proper taste to the dish. We should stir them again and again in order to check that onions and all the vegetables are not burnt. We may have to mix some water if while boiling the water gets dried.After all the vegetables are cooked  we should again add one to two cups. Of water approximately and cook for some minutes. At this time we should add potatoes and eggs in that curry and cook for a few minutes so that they get spicy and tasty.At this stage we should check that salt,sugar and chillies are perfectly mixed in proper quantities.when. the quantity of gravy becomes half we should add garam masala. We can also sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves but it is optional.Now, our egg curry is completely ready to serve.

NOTE---_--- If one does not want to cook egg curry with onions he or she should use cumin paste one tablespoon and follow the same process. That would also be a delicious egg curry recipe.

                How to serve

Egg can be cooked in various ways.Egg is versatile and at the same time a very tasty ingredient.We should serve the awesome egg dish with chapati, paratha, nun poories,etc.we can also eat this accompanied with rice, fried rice.

 When I open the refrigerator at my home, I am very happy because there are Eggs! We all like to eat eggs.

The eggs smile at me and at that time I feel that I should cook delicious varieties of egg dishes. Wow! It becomes so good. The divine taste of eggs transforms the simple dishes into a very delicious and enjoyable to everyone. It brings happiness when we are served tasty egg dishes for their versatility. I feel nostalgic when I cook eggs at my home. When I was young, my grandma used to make nice egg dishes at home and put them in my tiffin box when I would go to school. She used to give me egg sandwiches, egg toast, egg chowmein, and even a boiled egg. I remember my childhood days when I used to share my tiffin which included egg sandwiches with my friends in school. In this blog, I want to share a short story in my life. 

when I got married, I was not a good cook. I came to know that all members of my husband's family love to eat eggs. As I was a new member of my husband's family, I was much loved by them. One day, they asked me to prepare any dish for them. I thought that it would be a better option if I cook an egg dish for them. Egg dishes are easier to cook and my family members also love them. This egg dish is taught by my grandma. I called her over the phone and asked her what egg dish should I cook? Then she told me about this very simple but too much tasty egg with mustard or dim sorse recipe. The egg has found its permanent place in the Indian kitchen as well as in foreign kitchens. Food is such an item which can bring people from different countries or people having different choices together. We can make our near and dear ones happy by preparing nice food items. Items, made with eggs have become favourite to all. We can not avoid using eggs while making cakes or pastries.

 Mustard seeds have great nutritional values.we must include mustard seed paste in our diet. It can prevent cancer, It is also helpful in solving the problem of migraine, It is beneficial for our heart health as it has the power to reduce bad cholesterol in our heart. It is also good for digestive systems. It is good for our skin.

The egg is a rich source of protein. Egg is required in the diet of a pregnant woman.

The egg can reduce excess body weight. 

Ingredients

Eggs(3eggs), mustard seeds paste (required quantity), salt, turmeric(as per taste), sugar(1-2) pinches, green chilli(2-3pieces), mustard seed oil(required quantity).

Process

Step1---- First,we have to boil eggs.Then we should cut the eggs into halves with a knife.

Step2---- Next, in order to make eggs with mustard or dim sorse we should smear those eggs with mustard seed paste.we should add salt as per taste,sugar,turmeric,we should add mustard oil in to it (adequate quantity of mustard oil),we should also add green chillies cutting them in to halves. we should put them in a round shaped steel tiffin box and close the lid of the box tightly.

Step3------- We should take a pressure coocker and put a little quantity of water in to it.IN order to make this sorse dim we should put the tiffin box in the pressure cooker and close the cover of the cooker. then we should put the pressure cooker on the gas oven and let coock it for some time. After 

                 our dish is ready, we should open the cover of the pressure cooker and take out the tiffin box and we can open the lid of the box in order to see those eggs with sorse recipe. Now, our favourite recipe is ready to serve. 

We can serve this recipe with bread(roti),rice. This recipe is also called dim bhapa. It tastes really good in winter when we eat it with hot rice or rotis. It is a time saving taste ful and healthful egg dish with a spicy taste.It is an appropriate recipe for a beginner cook or a working lady having lack of time. This can make children happy.so please try this recipe at home.

        We all in the modern world are very much health conscious. At the same time, we always try to take a healthy diet. Most of us avoid spicy food in our food menu list. We like to eat a wholesome meal which is easy to make and takes less time to be cooked.  We look for short cut recipes in our busy life schedule.  Dalia Khichdi  is one of those nutritious and time-saving diets.  

                                                   What is  Dalia 

Most of us are now familiar with Dalia. Dalia is broken or cracked wheat. Dalia is rich in fiber. It contains vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin B1, B2, etc.e It also has some minerals like iron, calcium, etc. It can be prepared so easily at home even by a beginner.

                                            Dalia Benefits

Dalia is rich in protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals. So it has some awesome benefits on health.

Dalia is full of fiber, so it helps to remove constipation by clearing the intestine. Dalia is a wholesome meal that can manage extra body weight. It is useful in reducing extra weight. Dalia is also a healthy meal for diabetic patients. Diabetic patients can freely take Dalia.                                            

                     

Bengali style-Tasty-and- Healthy- Dalia Khichdi

To make broken wheat recipe, we need the following ingredients-----

"Veg Dalia" recipe is a favourite among most of the Indian people. This Dalia khichdi can be a good option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This dalia dish can be taken at any time.

It is very beneficial for kids also. Children love it. They will love to take in their tiffin when they come back from school.

Dalia---- 1 cup, yellow lentils(mung dal) 1/2 cup, 2 potatoes(cut the potatoes in a bit big pieces so that they will not melt in the pressure), capsicum 1/2, tomato 1/2, beans required quantity, onions 2 medium-sized, Ghee/clarified butter2-4 tablespoon, salt as per taste, mustard oil (required quantity), sugar(as per taste), a pinch of cumin seeds, one bay leaf, one dried chilies as condiments, ginger paste 1/2 tablespoon, 

Note---- In the case you are not applying onions, you can give cumin paste 1 teaspoon.

                                                 Process 

.   Step 1----- Put the cauldron on the gas oven. Then hit 2 tablespoon ghee on a medium flame and stir the dalia into it. You can add  a little quantity of mustard oil (1 tablespoon) if required,. Otherwise, you can stir or lightly fry the Dalia in ghee/clarified butter of an adequate quantity. Then keep the dalia in a separate bowl.

Step2----- Stir the mung dal (yellow lentils) in the cauldron without oil. You have to keep on stirring the mung dal until it becomes a bit red but we have to take care that mung dal is not burnt or over-fried. After stirring, we have to wash the yellow mung dal with clean water.

Step4------ Chopp onions, beans, capsicum. Then put Dalia, yellow lentils, all the vegetables in the pressure cooker. Then add an adequate quantity of water, salt, turmeric powder, cumin paste(if you are not giving onions), and put the pressure cooker on a gas oven. When Dalia along with all the vegetables and mung dal is cooked, open the cover of the pressure cooker. Now, you have to check whether the yellow lentils are boiled, if not, then keep the pressure cooker on the gas oven opening the cooker's cover for some minutes more. When the moong dal is boiled, add some sugar, and stir it. We will also have to take care  the vegetables are not overcooked or melted. Then put 1-1and a half teaspoon ghee in Dalia khichdi. Now, it is ready to serve.

We can serve it with fried brinjal, potato fry, papad, egg omelet, etc. We can also eat this with aloo dum.

                 My  Grandma is a very  good  cook. She makes nice dishes. Aloo Dum is  one of the tasty dishes. I love eating a lot and  I like spicy dishes. My mom and my Mother-in law also cook nice foods. I  often try some dishes taught by my Grandma and elders of my family. When my relatives come at my house I often make this particular dish and they enjoy a lot.I want to share my recipe with my friends who are visiting my blog. I would also like to have feedbacks from them.

               Ingredients:  Boiled potatoes,ginger, garlic, onion paste,tomato and green chilly paste, pasted cashew nuts and pasted raisins, a small quantity of green cardamom, cinnamon, clove dusted,bay leaves, a bit cumin, turmeric powder,salt,sugar,garam masala,ghee, water.
                 
             Process: First I wash potatoes very well and boil it in a pressure cooker.Then I take out all potatoes with spoon and peel their skins slowly. I then cut those potatoes into halves with a spoon. First I put my cauldron on gas oven in a medium flame. Then I fry potatoes in mustard oil adding salt and turmeric powder until potatoes become golden.Then I put those potatoes on a separate plate.After that I add bay leaves, a small quantity of cumin, a small quantity of dusted green cardamom, cinnamon, clove and  cashew, raisins paste and heat them a little into the mustard oil for a few minutes. After that I add ginger,garlic, onion, tomato and green chilly paste and fry them a little. After that I add all the potatoes into it and cook them very well until the oil comes out. We should be very careful that potatoes should not be broken while cooking. We should add salt, sugar in the paste of ginger, garlic, tomato, onion and chilly according to taste .I check again and again the taste of sugar and salt.Add required water when oil stats to come out from the spices.After that I add ghee and garam masala into the curry. At last I sprinkle coriander leaves and my aloo dum is ready to serve.
                  
                  We could serve it with hot poori, parathas etc.We can also take it without anything else.

Chatpata Chilli Chicken

I am in love with cooking.It is my hobby. When I hear of some delicious dishes to my friends, relatives, family I always try it. I like to feed people making new dishes and I also like to taste delicious foods .Chilli chicken is that recipe which I got from my beloved sister-in-law. Therefore, it is my wish to share the recipe with all the viewers of my blog.

Ingredients: Boneless chicken, vinegar, corn flour, salt,sugar, red chilli powder, egg, soya sauce,chilli sauce, tomato sauce,garlic, ginger paste.


Process: First we have to wash the pieces of boneless chicken  very well.Next we have to add little quantity of vinegar to the chicken in order to make them soft. Then we should mix eggs, corn flour,salt, sugar, red chilli powder with the pieces of chicken and mix them very well.We have to make the mixture tight.Then my next step would be to fry the chicken deeply in refined oil until the colour of the chichen becomes brown.Then we should cut onions, capsicum into halves.Then in a pan we would add ginger paste and garlic paste to the oil and fry these vegetables with chicken adding an adequate quantity of salt and sugar. We should cook it very well.When the smell is good and it is cooked well,we should add soya, tomato and chilli sauce to it.After that we should boil water in a separate pan and add an adequate quantity of corn flour and mix well.After that we would add that water into that chicken in order to make gravy. we should always check the taste of salt and sugar. We should cook it for a little time and my dish is ready.

INTRODUCTION:Egg has become a valuable kitchen commodity in our Indian kitchen. The popularity of recipes made with eggs is world wide.It is a main dish of foreign countries but we Indians have also accepted it heartily. Our Indian cuisine welcomes  this recipe for its great taste and we can make it very simply and in a short time.It is a time saving delicious recipe. It would be tastier if there is rain outside and we enjoy our omlettes with our near and dear ones and having some gossips. We may also have coffee with it. An omelette can bring a sparkling smile on each and every one of us. Especially, it makes a big smile on the face of the children when they open their tiffin-box at school or when they come back from school being too tired and hungry. 



INGREDIENTS:Two eggs,2onions(cut into pieces), 2 chopped chillies, coriander leaves(cut into pieces), half chopped tomato(optional), a pinch of baking powder, salt, oil, dusted black peeper, according to taste.


PROCESS:Break two eggs(for one omelette) into a bowl and mix them well with a spoon. Then add chopped onions, tomato, coriander leaves, chillies, a pinch of baking powder, dusted black peeper  according to taste, salt and then again mix them well with a spoon. Then put the frying pan on the gas oven in a medium flame.Pour oil into the pan and then heat it.After that pour the egg mixture into the pan.When one side of the omelette will be fried we should fold it and fry the other side of the omelette.Now this is ready to serve.

Serving:While serving we should garnish it first.We should garnish it with chopped tomato, onion, cucumber,etc. We can serve it with tomato sauce, bread etc. We can also take it with dal and chawal.
